Things to Do in Hull in November 2026 and Where to Stay
November in Hull has a packed line-up this year, with big names heading to Connexin Live and Hull City Hall, and the city centre getting into the festive spirit towards the end of the month.
If you're planning a winter break in Hull, here's what's on this November…
Jonathan Pie at Connexin Live
Jonathan Pie brings his new show, The End of the World According to Jonathan Pie, to Connexin Live on Friday 6th November. Tom Walker's furious fictional news reporter has built a huge following online, and the live show mixes sharp political satire with plenty of ranting about the state of things. Tickets are available now if you want to make a night of it.
Enter Shikari at Connexin Live
On Sunday 15th November, Enter Shikari play Connexin Live. The St Albans band have spent two decades mixing rock and electronic music with huge singalong choruses, and their live shows are known for their energy. If you're travelling in for the gig, it's a short walk back to the Old Town afterwards.
Sam Campbell at Connexin Live
Comedy fans can catch Sam Campbell at Connexin Live on Thursday 12th November with his new tour, Kid Giblet. The Australian comedian won the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2023 and is well known from Taskmaster, so expect a night of surreal, unpredictable stand-up. Tickets are available through Connexin Live.
Comedy at Hull City Hall
Hull City Hall has a good month of comedy, starting with the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club on Friday 6th November. Fin Taylor follows on Wednesday 11th November with his sharp, no-nonsense stand-up. Check the Hull Theatres website for tickets and the full listings.
Festive Nights in Hull
If you're visiting Hull towards the end of November, the city starts to feel properly festive.
The Christmas lights switch-on in Queen Victoria Square usually takes place in late November, with live entertainment outside Hull City Hall before the lights go on in the evening. Keep an eye on Hull City Council's news page for this year's date.
To close the month, The Snuts play Hull City Hall on Monday 30th November. The Scottish indie band are known for big guitar anthems and a lively crowd, so it's a good one to finish off a November break.
