What Is Humber Street Sesh?

For anyone who hasn't been before, Humber Street Sesh is an award-winning festival that takes over Hull Marina each summer. It puts over 100 artists across 10 stages in one day, with a strong focus on independent live music from local and regional emerging artists alongside some nationally recognised names.

It's been running for years now and has built a serious reputation for spotting talent early and giving it a platform. The lineup spans a wide range of sounds, so there's usually something for everyone regardless of what you're into.

The 2026 Lineup

This year's headline act is Fiona-Lee, an East Yorkshire singer-songwriter who has been building towards this moment for a while. She first played the festival's Acoustic Stage back in 2018 as a teenager, returned in 2025 for a standout set on the BBC Introducing Stage, and now takes the Main Stage as the first female artist to headline the festival. 

Also on the bill this year are Walt Disco, The Kairos, Flat Moon, Gravy, The Family Battenberg, Jodie Langford, Scaleraker, Sam Scherdel, and plenty more still to be announced across the 10 stages.
