August was an incredible month for Hull. Tens of thousands of people flooded to the city to see the likes of Noel Gallagher and Sean Paul perform as well as the hundreds of acts that took place throughout Humber Street Sesh. Theatre Productions in Hull
There’s something for all ages this month. The very start of the month sees something for the younger ones come to Hull New Theatre. In The Night Garden Live will see all of the show’s favourite characters brought to life for the weekend. Tickets are available for shows on the 10th and 11th of September.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory The Musical is also coming to Hull New Theatre, allowing the full family to escape to a world of imagination. Based on the iconic Roald Dahl story, the spectacular stage show combines memorable songs from the original 1970s motion picture with new numbers from award-winning songwriters! The 90s Live
This September, you can relive the 90’s dream with the ultimate 90s party night out taking place at Hull City Hall. From hits by Oasis and the Spice Girls to S Club 7 and Blur, it’ll be a night to remember bringing fantastic vocals, costumes, and of course, the biggest and best dance moves of the 1990s!

Hull is a true crime fan’s dream this September with two dedicated murder nights. The 15th of September sees the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel host its very own Murder Mystery Night brought to you by a fantastic cast of live actors. Do you think you have what it takes to solve a murder? Get your detective hats on and enjoy a glass of bubbles and a three-course meal!
On the 19th of September, you’re able to explore the mind of a murderer as Scottish detective David Swindle shares everything he’s learned about the ins and outs of a murderer through his 34 years as a senior detective.
