Nothing boosts the mood like some fresh air and exercise, and there’s something for everyone in Hull.
Sunny days call for a trip to the park, and East Park has lots to offer. Whether you want to brave the splash boat, visit the animal education centre or just have a gander with an ice cream in hand, East Park brings it all to the table. You could also have a stroll along Hull’s picturesque Marina and through the trendy Fruit Market area (top tip: Cocoa do the best brownies!). If cycling is more your thing, we have four dutch-style bikes for hire, and as Hull is one of the flattest cities in the UK, it’s perfect for exploring by bike!
The more adventurous of you should visit Gravity Trampoline Park in St Stephen’s, which has over 80 interconnected trampolines. You can bounce off wall-to-wall trampolines, fly into foam-filled pits and even compete at dodgeball. The best bit? It’s for all ages! Hull Karting is another great option; allowing you to experience the thrill of real motor racing. It’s one of the largest all-weather, fully floodlit circuits in the country and takes party or group bookings.
If you’re looking for a day out to keep the whole family entertained, Superbowl UK at Princes Quay is home to a state-of-the-art bowling alley, Quasar and Crazy Club multi-level play area for the little ones - so a day out here is guaranteed to get the blood pumping and put a smile on your face, not matter how old you are! There’s also a diner, so you can build your strength back up, and a bar with live sport for the adults.
Why not try something completely different at Hull’s Archery Club? This medieval pastime allows you to get some exercise in a fun way, with the added bonus of making you feel like Robin Hood. The club has loads of competitions you can get involved in, and can even host corporate days for team building with a twist.
It could just be that you want a plain and simple trip to the gym. You’re in luck! We have a partnership with 24-hour city centre gym, Planet Gym. Simply rock up with your hotel confirmation email for discounted daily or weekly passes.
